Okay Yeh! Wa-up yall? Hehehe. Lets du a brief history on Switch! Ngak.. anyway. Its lyk dis yah knaw...btw chek out our barkada webpage. Nagpagkasunduan ng himpilan ng mga malalayang mamamayan na itatag ang naturang banda. Heheh! Swak! And dat ends history. (ahm. Baduy ba? ) iyon, just like any other band, believing that we can du it w/ our own skills, talents and abilities, we aspired to play for the first time. Kala namin ganun lang kadali, pero... may audition. May audition pala. Its not as simple as we expected. Its not that kind of show that's--- " I wanna play. Let me play"... Its sumkinda .. "Yu wanna play? Than prove u cn play".As for us first-timers .. " ahh.. Ganun ba yun." Hweh. SchoolFair lang to pero... dalawang linggo din itong pinagdidisisyonan sa korte. Feeling namin napakalaking kaso pero paano nga ba?.. oo o hindi. Matapos batikusin ang kasong binalibaliktad na parang pinipritong itlog, nagsimula na kaming magpractice...mag jammin! Finally the day came. Honestly, dipa talaga kami handa and we could have backed out at the moment. But-- We didn't. Even though our hearts were really beating... really Fast, we went on with it. We knew that eventually, we' d have to get it over with. The room. We entered the room. We waited patiently as nonstop sweat ran over our foreheads. Many groups were on for screening too. Our tummies were rumbling very... unlikely.( parang yung kakaibang sensation kapag malapit ka nang ma jebs?) And our feet were.. getting cold... getting ready to run for our lives outside the screening room. But we didn't. Having too much in mind and all that sorta stuff, The screening had stopped. The room was still noisy. And for five whole minutes, people were doing nothing at all.Then suddenly someone from the screening committee approached us... "O ano.. tutugtog pa ba kayo? Kanina pa kayo hinihintay ng panel." Shit. This was it. Kaya pala wala nang ginagawa, kami na?..... o well here goes nuttin...$!#@!^*^%# !$@^& *%^*#$ !#@%!^(@@#%^*)(%$@^(. And that's done. Two days later they told us that we passed and we could play publicly ( sa variety show.. nyeh!). yun lng. And on the hot afternoon of NoVember 26, 1999, before the dakilang madla standing on the fair grounds os assumption Antipolo, We have successfully had our 1st pblic appearance. Successful, even though we made a few "minor"...slips ... okay na yon. and that was our first gig. Nyak!. Hehehe. Shit and haba na pala. Sorreh-- memories. Hahaha. Okay thnx for reading.
